For 25 years LGFCU has focused solely on serving local government employees, elected officials, volunteers, and their families across North Carolina. LGFCU firmly believes that improving the lives of members also improves the communities in which they live.

With the launch of LGFCU Financial Partners, LGFCU is expanding on its philosophy specifically to include an emphasis on improving the communities in which its members reside. LGFCU Financial Partners, a wholly-owned subsidiary of LGFCU, plans to offer a variety of services to local governments who may not have in-house staffing devoted to handling essential services. Currently, this organization has products to help local governments acquire the things they need to add value to the services they offer.

As a committed partner of local governments, LGFCU Financial Partners will provide products and services consistent with our values of integrity, reliability and innovation. We’re kicking off this enterprise with commercial lending as the first line of business and we’ll announce others as we continue to look for solutions local governments need and want.
